Copying destroying viability of Australian design

In the UK it is illegal to sell knockoffs but no similar protection exists in Australia, making it almost impossible for the creators of original designs to sustain a career. Furniture Manufacturers Struggling with Export Regulatory Burden

The AFA is working very closely with AFA Members to help them Export their products to the world. There have been some major inroads by the AFA and the Federal Government in this area which will be announced soon.

Earlier this year Australia's International business Survey captured data from more than 1,600 Australian exporters and provided unique insights from a diverse range of businesses but with a particularly strong representation from the manufacturing sector (31 per cent).
